Free in-home measure and quote - PGT, CGI and CWS impact lines compared on your actual openings, style by style
Meet the Weston Team Behind Sightline Windows & Doors Weston
Every window and door we install in Weston runs through this crew. We’re the people who measure your openings, spec the right product for your exposure, and leave a photo record you can scroll through while we’re still packing up. What ties us together isn’t a handbook. It’s Haven Clause 3 - Verified Crews - and the fact that none of us would let another person sign off on work we wouldn’t put our own name on.
Our People
Sonia Raman, Owner
I started Sightline in 2012 after watching a PGT WinGuard installation go sideways on a job I was consulting. The crew had the right product, the right tools, and zero documentation. When the homeowner called six months later about water intrusion, nobody could prove what flashing detail had actually been used. That gap between what gets promised and what gets recorded is why I built the Haven Standard. I still pull a tape on jobs that cross into custom geometry - arched tops, trapezoids, the kind of openings where the sightline measurement has to be right to the eighth or the glazing bead won’t seat. I keep a written price on every job, and I keep the photo record myself when the opening’s complicated enough that I don’t trust anyone else’s eye. I’ve had manufacturers change their extrusion profiles without updating the cut sheets. I note that in the file, because the next person who opens it needs to know.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with us since 2017, which in this trade means he’s seen the transition from nail-fin installs to full flange-and-strap impact systems. He’s certified in PGT and CGI installation methods, and he’s the one we send when a job involves multiple product lines in the same facade - say, CWS impact casements on the second floor with Therma-Tru entry doors below. He carries a moisture meter in his bag and uses it on every opening before the old unit comes out. Drywall returns hide a lot of sins. Marcus doesn’t let them. On weekends he restores vintage motorcycles, which he says taught him more about gasket compression than any factory training.
Elena V., Senior Installer
Elena came to us from commercial glazing in Miami-Dade, where she spent eight years on high-rise curtainwall before deciding she preferred working with homeowners who actually live in the building. She’s our specialist on energy-efficient retrofits - jobs where we’re pulling single-pane aluminum out of a 1990s Weston tract home and dropping in ECO Window Systems vinyl with low-E coatings. She tracks U-factor and SHGC numbers like most people track sports scores, and she’ll walk a customer through why a 0.25 U-factor matters for their FPL bill in plain English. She has a scar on her left forearm from a piece of tempered glass that let go early in her career. She shows it to apprentices when she explains why we don’t rush the staging.
David R., Service Coordinator
David answers the phones that ring at 10 PM during hurricane watch. He’s the live person on the other end of that 24/7 line, and he’s been doing it long enough that he can tell from a description whether someone’s looking at seal failure, frame deflection, or a weep hole clogged with Weston lawn debris. He schedules every measured survey, prints every written quote, and maintains the photo archive - Haven Clause 4, Evidence on Every Job. Before he joined us in 2019, he managed logistics for a marine contractor in Fort Lauderdale, which is where he learned that salt air and poor drainage destroy everything eventually. He keeps a spreadsheet of every callback we’ve had since 2017. There are 23 entries. He knows them by heart.
Jake P., Apprentice
Jake started with us in March after completing a construction program at Broward College. He’s six months into his apprenticeship and already competent on standard vinyl replacement openings - the kind of work that makes up maybe 40% of our volume in Weston. Marcus and Elena alternate weeks supervising him. Jake’s current focus is learning to read a sightline measurement against the actual opening, because the drawing and the wall don’t always match, especially in the older Bonaventure developments where settling has shifted frames. He asks more questions than any apprentice we’ve had. We count that as a feature, not a bug. He lives with his grandmother in Weston and texts her photos from every job site.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard governs every Sightline crew across Florida, but this Weston team is who shows up at your door. Haven Clause 1 - Have It in Writing - means the price you see before we start is the price you pay. Clause 2 - Arrive on Schedule - means we don’t book more work than we can finish. Clause 3 - Verified Crews - means the license number on your confirmation matches the person on your stoop. Clause 4 - Evidence on Every Job - means the photo record is standard, not an upsell. Clause 5 - No Surprises - means if we find rot in the subsill or a header that won’t carry the load, we stop, document, and write the scope change before we cut anything.
We’ve installed more than 18,000 windows and doors since 2012. Every one had a written price first and a photo record at the end. The 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a courtesy we extend. It’s stamped on every job. If it’s not right, we make it right. No separate paperwork to invoke it. No manager to escalate through. Just the standard we built the company on.
Call (754) 812-9260 to schedule your free estimate. You’ll get a measured survey you keep, a written quote that doesn’t change, and a crew whose names you know before they arrive.
